Effective 03/18/2023, Polstream is implementing the following PayPal Refund Policy, in response to recent changes in PayPal's user agreement. Please read this policy carefully to understand the conditions and fees associated with refunds made through PayPal.

• Refund Eligibility

Customers are eligible for refunds in accordance with Polstream's existing Return Policy. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information about our refund criteria and process.

• Refund Processing Fee

In the event that a customer requests a refund for a purchase made using PayPal, a refund fee will be applied to the customer's account. This fee is necessary to cover the costs associated with processing the refund transaction.
 

The refund fee will be calculated as follows:

A percentage fee of 3.49% of the total transaction amount; plus

A fixed fee of $0.49 (USD) per transaction.

This fee will be deducted from the refund amount before it is returned to the customer.

Example: If a customer requests a refund for a $100 purchase, the refund fee would be calculated as follows:

Percentage fee: 3.49% of $100 = $3.49

Fixed fee: $0.49

Total refund fee: $3.49 + $0.49 = $3.98

The customer would receive a refund of $100 - $3.98 = $96.02.
 

• Refund Processing Time

Refunds made through PayPal may take a number of business days to process, depending on PayPal's processing times and the customer's financial institution. Polstream is not responsible for any delays in refund processing times due to PayPal or the customer's financial institution.

• Agreement

By using PayPal as a payment method on Polstream's website, customers agree to this PayPal Refund Policy and the associated fees. If customers do not agree with this policy, they are advised to select an alternative payment method available on our website.

• Policy Updates

Polstream reserves the right to update or modify this PayPal Refund Policy at any time, with or without prior notice, in accordance with changes in PayPal's user agreement or our own policies. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or platform, and customers are encouraged to review this policy periodically to stay informed about any updates.
